Congratulations to Lauren, our Girls on the Run of SE Michigan Youth Achievement Award Winner! Lauren was officially announced as the 2010 Kellogg’s Youth Achievement Award recipient at the ESPN ESPY Award Breakfast in Los Angeles this morning. Lauren, her mother, and her coach will also be attending the ESPN ESPY Awards Ceremony this evening.  This is the third consecutive year a Girls on the Run finalist has won the award.  Special thanks to each and every person who voted for Lauren over the past month. It is through Lauren’s initiative to submit an application and the collective efforts of our Girls on the Run family that we have once again shown our strong sense of community in rallying around our finalist!
